Tanner Gayton

Tanner Gayton has been golfing for almost as long as he’s been walking.

He eats, sleeps, and breathes golf. When he’s not working at The Links at Penn Hills Golf Course, he’s stepping up to the tee.

Now, his golfing obsession has turned into something international: He’s been at the Remax World Championship Finals. Gayton recently won the Atlantic Canadian Remax Long Drive Competition held in Truro. However, the three-day event wasn’t his favourite golfing adventure.

Tanner is the Assistant Pro as the Links At Penn Hills and works with training greats like Ed Hanczaryk.  Ed was named Top 50 Teacher in Canada, and has been voted by his peers as Eastern Canada's Teacher of the Year for the last four years in a row.

Ed Hanczaryk

Ed can be seen out the course and driving range nearly every weekend providing clinics and one-on-one training to beginners and aspiring pros alike. With some help from Dr. Joseph Parent, and Zen golf.  Ed was named Top 50 Teacher in Canada, and has been voted by his peers as Eastern Canada's Teacher of the Year four years in a row. Ed is Provincial Coach for Nova Scotia, a PGA teaching professional, US and Canada,  with 32 years of experience, and a Zen Golf Certified Instructor specializing in mindfulness training.
